Houses and Homes!
Our first topic this year was Houses and Homes. We studied different types of houses, houses around the world, materials used to build houses, the different jobs within a household and energy sources that are used in our homes.
We used Minecraft to build houses using various materials - brick houses, glass houses, wooden houses etc.

We described our own houses!

We looked at how household items have changed over time. We researched these items and created a pic kids poster showing our understanding of how house hold items have changed.
We have been learning all about recycling as part of our houses and homes topic. We sorted household items that can and cannot be recycled.

Weather Watchers!
Our second topic this year is all about the weather! We discussed the weather in Ireland and compared it to the weather in other countries, including Australia!
We learned about the different jobs that's are affected by weather!
We know all about windmills. We researched how windmills have changed over time!
On An Adventure!
Our final topic is On An Adventure. We have been learning all about the rainforest!
We used Minecraft to build our own rainforest
We created a report on rainforests!
We took part in the tasty science project!
