Numeracy 

We are learning how to use mental strategies to do addition and subtraction calculations.  We are using the RUCSAC method to help us with Problem Solving.

In our topic work we are investigating different areas including, 2D and 3D Shape, Data Handling, Symmetry and Area.

Using Explain Everything to demonstrate Place Value.

3D Shape

We used Geostruct to make a range of 3D shapes.  We were able to investigate their properties; vertices, edges and faces.

2D Shape

We used the Geoboard app to make 2D Shapes.  We also created shapes with right angles and investigated different types of triangles.
